I have had a few conversations about the end of Kendrick Lamar's song "Mortal Man" from the album "To Pimp a Butterfly." As the final track on the album, Kendrick ends with an "interview" with Tupac Shakur. The interview focuses on black people fighting for their rights. I think he truly speaks truth to power on it, touching on the fact that the youth will be the ones to fight back. It makes me think about the role I play at this point of my life in the struggle for black power.
