Disclaimer: I am not saying don't vote. I am not saying which party to support. What I am saying is that it's time to make the Democrats uncertain that we're going to support them without some solid promises.
I don't know about you but I'm tired of Black people's votes being taken for granted. Republicans write us off because they know we're probably going to vote Democrats. Democrats count us without doing anything for us because they know we're probably going to vote Democrat. We are the only special interest group that doesn't force anyone to make campaign promises specific to our issues. It's time to ask them for results that we can quantify and, if the results aren't met, they should know they can be replaced.
